The mRNA derived from the virus uses the host's cellular mechanisms to manufacture virus proteins (core proteins, enzymes and regulatory proteins essential for HIV replication). Once assembled, the core proteins wrap themselves around the viral RNA, produced in the nucleus, to form a new immature virus core.
